Opportunity of a Lifetime
Provide a child with a good education and Christ-centered resources
Choose a Sponsorship Level:
Good Samaritan Education and Residence Sponsorship - $105 per month
Help a child attend and live at the Good Samaritan School when they live too far away to commute daily. Students at this level receive comfortable, clean, and secure living facilities, three meals daily, educational materials, and a Christian environment.
Good Samaritan Education Sponsorship - $70 per month
Help a child attend a Good Samaritan School so they can receive a Christian education and experience extracurricular, volunteer, and spiritual growth opportunities.
Village Student Sponsorship - $35 per month
Help a child attend their local school by providing the necessary materials, supplies, uniform, additional expenses, and spiritual guidance through the support of a local pastor.
Feed the Hungry
Help feed hungry children in Honduras and Nicaragua
Many children and families struggle to put food on the table in Central America. Our missionary founders Bob and Joan Tyson witnessed the impacts of starvation during the 1980s, and were led to open a Feed the Hungry kitchen. Now, there are over 35 Feed the Hungry kitchens that serve more than 2,500 children each day.
- Provide daily meals and physical nourishment for those in need in Nicaragua and Honduras
- Provide spiritual nourishment, as children are taught a Bible story when they come to eat each day
Feed the Elderly
Help support a place in Honduras for elderly individuals to receive nourishment and fellowship
The elderly are another vulnerable population in Central America, and many struggle to get the food and care they need. Through our Feed the Elderly ministry, senior adults are able to come to the center to get a hot meal, receive a daily devotion, and relax while fellowshipping with one another, all while being reminded of the love Jesus has for them.
- Support the Elderly Center’s daily operations
- Provide food, love, and hope to the elderly
Samaritan Radio Network
Reach others with the Gospel over the airwaves
In remote areas of Central America, radio is often one of the few ways people can have access to the Gospel. Through the Samaritan Radio Network, people are able to hear the Good News of Jesus in 65% of Honduras, parts of Nicaragua, and parts of El Salvador.
- Keep our stations on the air and cover daily operations
- Maintain equipment to ensure continuous operations
Good Samaritan Bible Institute
Help men in Central America receive Bible training so they can reach others with the Gospel
The Good Samaritan Bible Institute was one of the first ministries founded by the Tysons in 1970. The Bible Institute is designed to train men who are called to preach, are already involved in ministry, and want to become more equipped to lead others to Christ through pastoring.
- Support daily operations of the school
- Provide scholarships, room and board, transportation, and meals to all students
National Pastors Fund
Support the national pastors of Good Samaritan Churches
This fund helps cover any extra support pastors may need that isn’t covered by a sponsor. It also helps pay for medical expenses or unexpected needs that may arise, allowing these pastors to provide for their families and continue their ministry.
- Fill any funding deficit
- Provide for unexpected expenses or medical needs
Good Samaritan Farm
Help our ministries become self-sustaining through our farm
To help our ministries become more self-sustaining, the Good Samaritan Farm was born! The farm currently has dairy cows, chickens, and many crops to help sustain the Feed the Hungry Kitchens, Good Samaritan Dormitories, Bible Institute, and mission trip teams.
- Provide equipment and other resources to help the farm remain operational.
Children's Christmas
Help children celebrate Christmas
Each year, our goal is to give out 10,000+ gifts to children who do not have a sponsor and who might not receive a gift otherwise. Any amount you can give helps!
